Info for Parents, Teachers, & Guardians
Childline Andalucia is a registered charity in Spain dedicated to helping expat children and teenagers cope with a range of concerns and problems at home and at school. This secure, online support service offers young people a private space to ask questions, communicate concerns, and recieve guidance and support from one of our specialist counsellors. All of the counselllors we use are fully certified and volunteer their time to us, without payment, to offer support to the children and teenagers who contact us. Only counsellors can see the messages left by our users, and only counsellors will respond to messages left through our system.
How it Works
Users sign up for an account through our sign up page using an email address and password. These become their secure login details for accessing the private dashboard. The dashboard provides a secure one-to-one messaging facility for users to leave a message or ask a question. Our counsellors log in to their own accounts and can respond to each user individually in private.
We are a small group of volunteers led by our founder Tracey-Leigh Bennett. We have a head office and charity shop in Sabinillas, with our team of volunteer counsellors working remotely from their locations.
How are we funded?
Our running costs are covered by donations made by very generous individuals and organisations ! ; and by offering advertising space on our main website childlineandalucia.org. If you would like to support this critical service for young expats in southern Spain, please do consider making a donation, or purchasing advertising space on our website. Thank you.
